Submerged In A Sweet World
Heritage Bee Co. was established after years of longing to get into beekeeping but not having the time nor the space. Shortly after purchasing beautiful countryside property adjacent to the Niagara Escarpment just north of Toronto, wild feral honeybees were discovered living in the hollow of a white pine tree right behind their home. The 'bee tree' was the inspiration and catalyst for starting Heritage Bee Co. Our sweet company has been a certified B Corp since 2017, which means we are committed to using business as a force for good, putting people and planet before profit.

We Practice Natural Beekeeping
We believe a natural way to beekeeping is better for bee populations. Healthy bee populations are essential for plant and vegetable pollination, which in turn ensures a healthy ecosystem.
Our approach follows a path of trust in nature, not control over nature. Synchronicity is our guiding principle. An avoidance of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides is essential for pollinator health.
